Citibank NYC
Citibank launched a new branch ATM hall design with a custom composite screen wall integrated into the interior architecture for the bank, hungry for some new motion to put up on them.
It was a unique design; twelve tall, twelve narrow strip screens, at a sawtooth angle and reflective surroundings. The screens were spread with a large negative space between each, so it was pretty clear that imagery spanning multiple screens wouldn’t be discernible as a continuous visual.

I modeled mockups of the space to get a better idea of how the screens would line up in POV
I proposed that designs that were best suited for space; abstract graphics with an emphasis on color, texture, and movement, and and executed in a manner that plays off the reflective nature of adjacent surfaces to act as a ’secondary screen’.
Branding would be isolated to individual screens for better visibility from all angles.
I art directed multiple animations of abstract shapes that aligned with the Citi brand, utilizing the robust simulation tools within Cinema 4D. Simulation sequences with soft and rigid physics bodies, cloth sims, and capped off with physical based rendering resulting in rich visuals that filled the ATM hall.

My work low-key popped up in the Wall Street Journal. Neat!
